Pillager Cass County Fair to run July 7-10

The 188th Pillager Cass County Fair will be July 7-10.

The schedule of events will be as follows:

July 7 will be entry and set up day. The food booth will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Food auction will be at 6 p.m.

July 8 - Kids' Day.

8 a.m. - Fair and food booth opens

8 a.m. - Horse judging (early entries recommended)

9 a.m. - Exhibit judging building closed

10 a.m. - Daycare tours

Carnival By Cody rides

1-3 p.m. - Basket special at food booth

3 p.m. to 12 a.m. - Beer garden opens

3-5:30 p.m. - Traveling Art Pub (TAP)

5 p.m. - Kiddie tractor pull registration

5:30 p.m. - Kiddie tractor pull

8 p.m. to 12 a.m. - Kings Ransom

12 a.m. - Fair closes

July 9

8 a.m. - Fair and food booth opens

8 a.m. - Horse judging (Early entries recommended)

Horse judging will break for parade

9:30 a.m. - Line up for parade

10 a.m. - Parade

11 a.m. - 7 p.m. - Exhibitors open

11 a.m. - Horse show resumes after parade

Carnival By Cody rides

Noon to 12 a.m. - Beer garden open

Noon - registration for Mud Run opens

1 p.m. - Texas Hold'em Tourney

2-4 p.m. - Ice cream social

7 p.m. - Uts Mud Run

10 p.m. - Fireworks by Zambelli

12 a.m. - Fair closes

July 10

Grand Finale

10:30 a.m. - Church services by First Lutheran Church of Pillager, Pastor Bob Osell

Noon - meal provided by Kim Gibbs of KC's Saloon. Meal will be broasted chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, cole slaw, roll and drink. Cost: $8, advanced tickets; $9 at the door. Only 150 tickets will be sold.

3 p.m. - Fair closes
