PILLAGER — Pillager Area Fire and Rescue responded to a structure fire around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, on Big Water Drive in Pillager.
Pillager Chief Greg Ringler said upon arrival, a trailer home was fully engulfed. Pillager sent about three to four trucks and used about 3,000-4,000 gallons of water to extinguish the fire. No one was in the residence at the time of the fire. Ringler said the homeowner had a place to stay, as the structure was a total loss.
Firefighters were on scene for about two hours.
