The students of Pillager Schools welcome all veterans and community members to a special Veterans Day program.
The program, 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, in the middle school gym, will honor those who have sacrificed for their country and will feature a tribute to families, spouses, parents and veterans who have given so much to the United States.
Patty Crawford of Motley will be the guest speaker. Through the love letters exchanged by wife and soldier, she recounts a story of love and sacrifice of her family members who made the ultimate sacrifice in war.
Included in the program will be a special presentation by Wendy Hall and her daughters who will share the sacrifices of the families who send their loved ones into the military. A panel of parents will also share their stories and life lessons when sacrificing time with their children who have enlisted.
