WOODBURY - Peter Arthur Rowe, 39, of New Brighton was charged with a felony after getting caught in a Woodbury Public Safety sting operation via social media.
He was charged with describing sex acts with an online user he thought was a 15-year-old girl.
According to the complaint, a Woodbury police officer posing as a 15-year-old girl had contact with Rowe through websites including exchanging messages where in one he included the man's tattoos and facial hair, by which Rowe was later identified by police. A naked photo was also sent by Rowe, police said.
Rowe asked the girl's name, and sent videos to the undercover officer, including one of him masturbating while saying the girl's name.
The man described sex acts with the child, then agreed to meet near the intersection of Lake Road and Century Avenue in Woodbury. When he arrived, he was arrested by police.
