Police asking for help in vending machine fire incident

The Brainerd Police Department is asking for the public's help with any information relating to a vending machine fire Sunday night at the Franklin Arts Center, 1001 Kingwood St., Brainerd.

The Brainerd Police Department is asking for the public's help with any information relating to a vending machine fire Sunday night at the Franklin Arts Center, 1001 Kingwood St., Brainerd.

Police were called to the arts center at 8:16 p.m. and found that someone had used a heating source to burn the plastic off a snack vending machine to steal items. Police did not know how many items were taken from the vending machine. No money was taken.
