INFORMATION - A report at noon Tuesday of a subject had a knife at Forestview Middle School, 12149 Knollwood Drive. Subject did not make any threats, just showed the knife to a friend. The school is handling the situation.

ANIMAL - A report at 8:41 a.m. Tuesday of a suspect hitting a yellow lab eight times in the head while he held the dog on the ground by its neck on Glenwood Drive. Caller wanted suspect charged with cruelty to animals.

THEFT - A report at 6:07 p.m. Tuesday of a theft at the Brainerd High School, 702 S. Fifth St.

A report at 3:36 p.m. Tuesday of a male subject who stole from the Holiday Superstore, 424 S. Sixth St., and then ran to the library.

A report at 12:19 p.m. Tuesday of items stolen on the 2800 block of Clara Street.

A report at 9:39 a.m. Tuesday of a theft at the Iron Rail Saloon, 707 Laurel St.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - A report at 8:44 p.m. Tuesday of the lug nuts on the complainant’s truck were loosened on the 300 block of 10th Avenue Northeast.

Crow Wing sheriff

FIRE - A report at 9:09 p.m. Tuesday of a chimney fire on the 28000 block of Polaris Lane, Merrifield. Mission Fire responded.

THEFT - A report at 3:51 p.m. Tuesday of a theft on the 8100 block of Justin Lane.

Little Falls police

THEFT - A report at 7:21 p.m. Tuesday of a theft at Casey’s General Store on the east side.

ARREST - A 37-year-old was arrested at 5:03 p.m. Monday after short pursuit on Highway 10 for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated and fleeing a peace officer.
