Baxter police

ARRESTS — Assisted with an arrest of a 32-year-old man at 1:11 a.m. Tuesday for driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop on Highway 371 at Ojibwa Road, Brainerd.

A 35-year-old man was arrested at 4:49 p.m. Monday for fleeing Walmart after staff attempted to stop him for theft.

A 34-year-old woman was arrested at 2:08 a.m. Monday for DWI of a controlled substance following a report of a suspicious vehicle on the 14000 block of Dellwood Drive.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 4:27 p.m. Tuesday of the complainant’s daughter causing a domestic disturbance on the 12000 block of Camwood Trail.

Report at 4:22 p.m. Tuesday of an argument and that the caller was being bullied on the 14000 block of Grand Oaks Drive. Officers mediated the conversation and the people involved agreed they would no longer be friends.


SUSPICIOUS — Report at 9:47 p.m. Tuesday of a male and female walking around pulling on doors on the 14000 block of Baxter Drive, stating they were looking for China Buffet. Officers were unable to locate them.

Report at 8:25 p.m. Monday of a suspicious vehicle parked on the pedestrian path off Oakwood Drive. Driver told the officer they did not know it was a bike path.

Brainerd police

ARRESTS — A 40-year-old man was arrested at 9:37 p.m. Wednesday for disorderly conduct on the 600 block of James Street.

A 19-year-old woman was arrested at 12:02 a.m. Wednesday on a warrant following a domestic disturbance on the 500 block of Northwest Third Street.

A 35-year-old man was arrested at 10:31 a.m. Wednesday for gross misdemeanor domestic assault and misdemeanor disorderly conduct on the 1800 block of Norwood Street.

A 28-year-old man was arrested at 2:08 a.m. Tuesday for misdemeanor domestic assault, disorderly conduct and tampering with a vehicle on the 800 block of South Seventh Street.

A 21-year-old man was arrested at 12:53 a.m. Tuesday for third-degree DWI during a traffic stop on Oak Street at Southeast 17th Street.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 8:42 a.m. Wednesday of a patient refusing to wear a mask at Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Baxter Clinic, 13060 Isle Drive. Officers made contact and the patient agreed to leave.


Report at 7:37 p.m. Wednesday of a physical domestic dispute on the 600 block of James Street. Complaint was unfounded and the people involved separated.

Report at 3:53 p.m. Wednesday of a domestic disturbance on the 600 block of Southwest Sixth Street.

Report at 5:27 p.m. Tuesday of a caller hearing yelling from a residence on F Street at Eighth Avenue Northeast. Officers made contact and learned it was a verbal argument only.
