DOMESTIC - A report at 9:08 a.m. Thursday of a domestic dispute on the 1400 block of Third Street Northeast. Officer arrived and learned the couple were having a heated argument on when to put the turkey in the oven. The male wanted to put it in now and the female wanted to put the turkey in later. Officers advised the couple to meet in the middle on a time and to lower their voices so the neighbors can't hear them.

ANIMAL - A report at 2:32 a.m. Thursday of a bat flying around the train station, 320 Highway 10. Officers cornered the bat and dispatched it.

ARRESTS - A 69-year-old man was arrested at 3:53 p.m. Sunday on the 43000 block of 275th Avenue for a Todd County warrant following a report of a dispute between a homeowner and a previous renter and one of the subjects was threatened with a handgun.

A 63-year-old man was arrested for assault Saturday following a verbal domestic on the 1500 block of Eighth Street Northeast.

A man was arrested at 8:28 p.m. Friday for domestic assault, fifth-degree assault, property damage and disorderly conduct following a report of a domestic on the 400 block of Fifth Street Southeast.

ASSIST - Assisted a motorist at 6:55 a.m. Saturday with a female in labor on Sixth Street Southeast and Highway 10.

DISTURBANCE - A report Nov. 26 of two juvenile males who were out of control and wouldn't listen to their teachers at Staples-Motley Elementary School, 1025 Fourth St. NE.

A report Nov. 24 of two juvenile males who were out of control and wouldn't listen to their teachers at Staples-Motley Elementary School.

A report at 4:22 p.m. Nov. 24 of a student yelling at a substitute teacher at Staples-Motley High School, 401 Centennial Drive. Student was advised to respect the teacher.

Brainerd police

OTHER - A report at 9:05 p.m. Friday of a car pulling a shopping cart on League Avenue and F Street. It was determined that the individuals were attempting to return it to Cub Foods.

SUSPICIOUS - A report at 10:54 p.m. Saturday of a male subject in a vehicle at Kiwanis Park, 1101 East River Road. Officer advised him that the park closed at 10 p.m.

A report at 9:30 p.m. Friday of a suspicious male walking around SuperAmerica, 421 NE Washington St. Suspect continued to enter and leave the store several times. Officers arrived and were unable to locate suspect.

A report at 7:11 p.m. Friday of a male acting suspicious at Triangle Store, 901 Oak St. Male was asking if the store had large bills and when they closed. Male left prior to officers arrival.

A report at 8:25 p.m. Wednesday of a male having vehicle difficulties in the Brainerd High School parking lot, 702 S. Fifth St.

DISTURBANCE - A report at 4:34 p.m. Sunday of an individual trespassing from Holiday Stationstore, 424 South Sixth St. and causing a disturbance.

A report at 3:28 p.m. Sunday of two residents causing a disturbance at Port Group Home for Boys, 1406 Laurel St. Subjects were separated for night.

A report at 4:58 p.m. Friday of subjects arguing on the 300 block of North Eighth Street. When officers arrived it was all quiet. Resident told officer that subjects came to her residence and they were rude. She admitted to yelling at them.

A report at 3:10 a.m. Friday of several people at a residence on the 2800 block of Clara Street and were refusing to leave.

A report at 2:29 a.m. Friday of a disturbance on the 2800 block of Clara Street. Subjects left prior to officers arrival and a dog was taken from the residence.

A report at 7:08 p.m. Thursday of an assault on the 700 block of Laurel Street.

ANIMAL - A person Friday had questions about killing squirrels. Complainant was advised.

ARRESTS - An 18-year-old man was arrested at 3:17 a.m. Sunday for felony fifth-degree drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia following a report of a prowler on the 500 block of First Avenue Northeast.

A 25-year-old man and a 28-year-old man were arrested at 1:04 a.m. Sunday for disorderly conduct following a report of a disturbance on the 700 block of Laurel Street.

A 14-year-old male was arrested at 8:02 p.m. Saturday for misdemeanor fifth-degree assault, disorderly conduct and property damage at Port Group Home for Boys.

A 33-year-old man was arrested at 1:07 p.m. Saturday for domestic assault and disorderly conduct on the 91000 block of Twins Street.

A 50-year-old man was arrested at 10:54 a.m. Friday for domestic assault and disorderly conduct on the 1700 block of Laurel Street.

A 25-year-old man was arrested at 1:27 a.m. Friday for disorderly conduct on the 1200 block of South Sixth Street.

A 40-year-old man was arrested at 8:42 p.m. Thursday for disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process on the 700 block of Laurel Street following a report of a disturbance.

A 48-year-old man was arrested at 8:24 p.m. Thursday for felony second-degree assault, felony of making terroristic threats and misdemeanor domestic assault following a report of an assault with a knife on the 600 block of Laurel Street.

A 24-year-old man was arrested at 2:28 a.m. Thursday for an Aitkin County warrant following a report of a noise complaint on the 200 block of Seventh Street.

A 39-year-old man was arrested at 12:33 a.m. Thursday for third-degree driving while intoxicated (DWI) on Norwood Street and 13th Street.

BURGLARY - A report at 10:47 a.m. Friday of an unknown male who went into a residence on the 900 block of Fifth Avenue Northeast. Officers were unable to get anyone to answer the door. Complainant would not answer multiple calls from dispatch or an officer.

WELFARE CHECK - A report at 9:44 a.m. Friday of a male lying on the 100 block of B Street. Male was advised to get off the roadway.

INTOXICATED - A report at 9:59 p.m. Thursday of an intoxicated person stumbling down the sidewalk on South Sixth Street and Oak Street. Subject was transported to detox.

ROAD RAGE - A report at 5 p.m. Thursday of road rage on D Street and Third Avenue Northeast. Both drivers were advised to use better judgement when driving.

DOMESTIC - A report at 7:24 a.m. Saturday of an intoxicated subject may have driven away from the 100 block of Nikkohl Road following a verbal domestic. Vehicle was located in Baxter and subject was not intoxicated.

A report at 10:08 a.m. Thursday of a male and female fighting outside on the 1400 block of M Street. A male was cited for disorderly conduct.

THEFT - A report Sunday of a theft of tools and other items from a garage on the 200 block of Southwest Fifth Street.

A report Saturday of a theft of a title from a vehicle on the 700 block of North Ninth Street. The vehicle was unlocked and a small amount of change also was missing.

A report Saturday of a theft of a Garmin taken from a vehicle on the 1000 block of Fourth Avenue Northeast. Other reports of vehicles that were gone through during the night on First, Second, Third, Fourth and Sixth Avenue and Terrance Avenue, but nothing was taken.

A report Saturday of a theft from a vehicle on the 900 block of Sixth Avenue Northeast.

Numerous reports Saturday of vehicle break-ins on the 1100 block of Bluff Avenue and the 500 block of E Street.

FLEE - A report at 3:18 p.m. Sunday of a shoplifter at Wal-Mart, 7295 Glory Road, who was fleeing on foot.

ARRESTS - A 28-year-old woman was arrested at 7:20 p.m. Saturday for theft and fleeing on foot from Kohls, 7565 Excelsior Road. Woman earlier was reported as selecting merchandise and then conducting a fraudulent return at Wal-Mart.

A 32-year-old man was arrested at 7:17 p.m. Saturday following a report of an assault at Bonanza Family Steakhouse, 14540 Dellwood Drive.

A 24-year-old man was arrested at 1:22 a.m. Saturday for DWI following a report of a vehicle striking a mailbox and a tree on the 14000 block of Memorywood Drive.

SUSPICIOUS - A report at 10:12 p.m. Friday of a vehicle parked at a deadend on Cypress Drive. Driver was waiting for her son to get done with work. Driver was advised of the no parking signs and asked to leave the area.

THEFT - A report Friday of a theft of scrap copper from a yard on the 11000 block of Forestview Drive.

THEFT - A report Sunday of a theft at SuperAmerica in Garrison.

FIRE - A report at 12:12 a.m. Sunday of an unattached garage on fire on Round Lake Road, Deerwood.

A report at 4:52 p.m. Thursday of a chimney fire on Peoria Road, Pequot Lakes. Ideal Fire was paged.

A report at 8:16 a.m. Thursday of a chimney fire on County Road 136, Emily. Responders were canceled en route.

DISTURBANCE - A report at 10:05 a.m. Saturday of a male causing a disturbance on Stratford Road, Nisswa.

ARRESTS - A 28-year-old woman was arrested at 3:01 a.m. Saturday for DWI following a report of a property damage crash on Schaller Road and County Road 16.

A 40-year-old man was arrested at 12:58 p.m. Friday following a report of a domestic assault on Fourth Street in Ironton.

Nisswa police

FIRE - A report at 4:12 p.m. Sunday of a fire alarm at Magnuson Hotel, 24186 Smiley Road. It was reported the sprinklers and smoke detectors were possibly not working.

THEFT - A report Sunday of a possible shoplifter who grabbed six to eight pieces of candy at The Chocolate Ox, 25425 Main St. Officer was unable to locate anyone.

DOMESTIC - A report at 10:19 p.m. Friday of a verbal disturbance at the Pickle, 25534 Murray Road.

A report at 1:27 p.m. Thursday of a verbal domestic at a residence in rural Brainerd. The complainant said her husband was mad at her because she was spending a lot of money lately.

MISSING - A report at 7:11 p.m. Friday of a lost child at Appaloosa Ridge Home Body, 25446 Main St. When officer arrived the mother was on her way from the Nisswa Chamber building. The child was turned over to mother.

SUSPICIOUS - A report at 2:04 p.m. Thursday of a male who walked up to a dog, put it on a leash and walked it on Spike Buck Drive. The complainant believed the dog belonged to someone else. Officers were unable to locate dog and male.

Breezy Point police

ARRESTS - A 36-year-old man was arrested at 7:54 a.m. Saturday for third-degree DWI following a report of a verbal domestic on Eagle Lane. Male left prior to officers arrival, but he was located on County Road 4.

A 37-year-old man and a 32-year-old man were arrested at 1:50 a.m. Nov. 25 on county warrants during a traffic stop for a vehicle with a loud exhaust on Poplar Drive and County Road 4.
