ASSIST - An officer was flagged down at 2:18 a.m. Monday on Washington Street and Third Avenue Northeast. They told the officer they did not realize he was the police and they were looking for a ride as it was cold out. The officer transported them to their residence.
ARRESTS – A 41-year-old man was arrested at 5:52 p.m. Sunday during a traffic stop on Washington Street and South Sixth Street for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated (DWI), fourth-degree DWI with test results of .08 within two hours and open bottle.
CITED - A 13-year-old female was cited for fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct following an assault reported at 2:43 p.m. Sunday at Girls PORT, 115 N. First St.
SUSPICIOUS - A report at 2:27 a.m. Sunday of complainant observing three people running southbound across Buffalo Hills Lane toward Hillcrest Drive. Officer located subjects who said they were walking back home from downtown Brainerd and they were cold.

DISTURBANCE - A report at 1:15 a.m. Sunday of an uncooperative subject in the emergency room at Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center, 523 N. Third St.
A report at 8:29 a.m. Friday of a disturbance with a male in the emergency room at Essentia Health.
THEFT - A report at 6:26 p.m. Saturday of a theft on the 1200 block of Campus Drive.
SHOOTING - A report at 10:43 p.m. Friday of an accidental discharge of a firearm on the 200 block of South Eighth Street.
HOMELESS - A report Friday of a homeless man without any shoes or a coat on the 600 block of Front Street. Officer made contact with the man and Northern Pines will assist the man in seeking help.
Baxter police
ARRESTS - A 22-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were arrested at 10:50 p.m. Sunday after a report of an odor of marijuana coming from a room at the Rodeway Inn, 7836 Fairview Road.

The man was booked on gross misdemeanor charge of purchasing/sell/barter/furnishing liquor and for petty misdemeanors of possessing drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana.
A 53-year-old man was arrested at 10:52 p.m. Saturday on Highways 210 and 371 for fifth-degree possession of drugs.
THEFT - A report at 6:30 p.m. Sunday of a theft at Arrowwood Lodge at Brainerd Lakes, 6967 Lake Forest Road.
Crow Wing sheriff
BURGLARY - A report at 6:37 p.m. Saturday of a burglary in Brainerd.
A report at 1:25 p.m. Saturday of a possible break-in on Camp Lake Road, Brainerd.
A report at 3:25 p.m. Friday of a burglary on Crow Wing County Road 39 in Pequot Lakes.
ARREST - A 59-year-old woman was arrested at 6:05 p.m. Saturday for DWI after a report of a vehicle in the ditch, intoxicated driver on Fools Lake Road and Crow Wing County Road 11.

THEFT - A report at 6:42 p.m. Friday of a theft on Highway 169 in Garrison.
CRASH - A report at 12:45 p.m. Saturday of a snowmobile versus vehicle on Crow Wing County Road 66 in Crosslake. There were no injuries.
A report at 4:11 p.m. Friday of a snowmobile crash on Westward Ho in Garrison. It was reported that one person was injured and transported to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby. Information on the person injured was unavailable Monday.
Nisswa police
THEFT - A report at 12:48 p.m. Sunday of a theft of a green and pink sweatshirt from Appaloosa Ridge Home Body and Gift, 25446 Main St.
Pequot Lakes police
SUSPICIOUS - A report at 9:18 p.m. Saturday of a male in a darker jacket jump out into the lane of traffic on Highway 371 and Crow Wing County 17 who tried to jump in a vehicle. The man stated “They were going to hurt him” to the complainant. The complainant saw other people around a vehicle on the other side of the road. The man was seen running down highway. Later another complainant called stating a man was walking around in Jenkins while picking up her daughter from work. The complainant reported the man got into a darker sports utility vehicle and headed south on Highway 371. The vehicle was located at SuperAmerica (SA) in Pequot Lakes. The driver said he picked the man up and brought him to the Pequot Lakes SA because it was open. The man was placed in the squad car and he stated he was trying to get away from his girlfriend, who was trying to kill him. He claimed he had been drugged and his cellphones were stolen. Male refused medical attention and he appeared to be OK by officer.

ARREST - A 25-year-old was arrested at 11:52 p.m. Saturday after a report of an assault on the 200 block of Fifth Street Southeast.
THEFT - A report at 10:39 a.m. Saturday of two separate thefts on the 800 block of Eighth Street Northwest.
A report at 10:26 p.m. Friday of a theft on the 200 block of Sixth Street Southwest.
INTOXICATED - A report at 8:27 a.m. Friday of a possible intoxicated subject walking up Third Street Northeast dancing. Officers made contact with subject, who said he was listening to his iPod and dancing as he was walking home.
SHOOTING - A report at 3:15 a.m. Friday of a possible gun shot in the area of the 800 block of Eighth Street Northwest. Officer checked the area and later cleared.
