BOMB - The bomb squad was requested to retrieve military ordnance at 5:16 p.m. Thursday on the 9200 block of 110th Street, Brainerd. Officer retrieved a World War II era Japanese mortar shell.

ARRESTS - Three people were arrested following a report at 9:43 p.m. Thursday of a disturbance involving a vehicle and an intoxicated driver. A 26-year-old man was arrested for third-degree driving while intoxicated (DWI), giving peace officers a false name and fleeing on foot; a 24-year-old man was arrested for giving peace officers a false name and fleeing on foot; and a 38-year-old woman arrested for fifth-degree domestic assault.

A 28-year-old man was arrested at 4:10 p.m. Thursday on the 200 block of Chippewa Street for domestic assault and disorderly conduct.

SUSPICIOUS - A report at 11:33 p.m. Thursday of juveniles removing the construction cones which are covering the manhole covers on Southwest Sixth Street and Laurel Street.

A report at 3:32 p.m. Thursday of a male acting strange, falling in the grass and talking to trees.

JUVENILE - A report at 2:37 p.m. Thursday of a juvenile throwing a hatchet in the yard at a squirrel on Rosewood and 12th Streets. The subject admitted to throwing the hatchet and agreed to stop it.

FIGHT - A report at 10:56 p.m. Thursday of a fight on the 500 block of Second Avenue Northeast.

THEFT - A report Thursday of a theft of a bike on the 700 block of North Seventh Street.

A report Thursday of a theft of gas and a gas can on the 1200 block of Mill Avenue.

A report Thursday of a theft of a purse while working at the Salvation Army at the Thrift Store, 609 Norwood Street.

A report Thursday of a theft on the 200 block of Washington Street.

A report Thursday of a theft of a vehicle on the 1300 block of Pine Street.
