Baxter police

ARRESTS-A 28-year-old man was arrested at 10:46 p.m. Monday at College Square, 8218 Highland Scenic Road. The man was arrested for second-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

A 60-year-old man was arrested at 11:51 a.m. Monday following the report of fraud. A wallet was reported stolen in Cass County, and a debit card from the wallet was used for financial transactions in Baxter and Brainerd.

A 30-year-old woman was arrested at 9:43 p.m. Sunday following a report of a disturbance on the 7500 block of Excelsior Road. According to the Crow Wing County in-custody report, the woman was arrested for obstructing the legal process, endangering a child by permitting their presence around controlled substances, misdemeanor drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Children were placed on a 72-hour hold.

A 29-year-old man and a 37-year-old man were arrested at 7:38 p.m. Saturday following a report of a suspicious vehicle on Grouse Drive. Both were arrested on felony drug charges.

BURGLARIES-Multiple reports July 1-3 of locks cut and latches damaged at storage units on Foley Road.

SUSPICIOUS-Report Friday of a suspicious person at Super One Foods, 7895 Excelsior Road N. The caller reported the incident occurred the previous day. A young black male was reportedly in the parking lot soliciting female customers for "15 minutes of fun" and was wearing blue jeans and shiny knee-high boots.

 

Breezy Point police

ARRESTS-A 53-year-old man was arrested at 8:05 p.m. Friday following a report of property damage on the 8900 block of Breezy Point Boulevard. A caller reported someone drove through her yard and damaged new sod. The man was arrested for fourth-degree damage to property and driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety.

A 63-year-old man was arrested at 5:53 p.m. June 28 for trespassing after "surreptitiously" convincing a property caretaker to allow him into a condominium that was owned by another person. The man was arrested for trespassing and evaluated at Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. Police contacted Dakota County, where the man had a permit to carry. They advised the permit had been voided.

THEFT-Report June 28 by a housekeeping supervisor of the theft of $800 from a guest worker on the 6800 block of County Highway 11. Someone admitted to taking the money and the report was to be forwarded to the Crow Wing County Attorney's Office for a gross misdemeanor theft charge.

Crosby police

DISTURBANCES-Report June 27 of a domestic disturbance and possible assault that occurred at a residence on Fourth Street Northwest. Officers made contact with those involved received details on what occurred. A report was to be forwarded to the county attorney's office.

Report Friday of a possible domestic assault at a residence on Second Street Southwest. Officers made contact with those involved and will submit a report to the county attorney's office for review.

CRASH-Report June 28 of a motor vehicle crash involving a bicycle that occurred on Oak Street and Superior Avenue. Officers met with bicyclist at the hospital, where they heard details of the incident. Minor injuries were reported.

BURGLARY-Report June 29 of a burglary of a garage on the 300 block of First Street Southwest. An officer observed that someone may also have been attempting to reside in the garage.

MISUSE OF FUNDS-Report June 29 of the misuse of funds from a vulnerable adult who lives on Third Avenue Northwest. The suspect is known and resides in a different city.

 

Brainerd police

ARRESTS-A 23-year-old man was arrested at 1:06 a.m. Tuesday for a felony probation violation. Officers stopped to speak with the man after identifying him as suspicious on the 300 block of South Eighth Street.

A 55-year-old man was arrested at 10:40 p.m. Monday for disorderly conduct. The arrest occurred after officers located a disturbance within the crowd during the Fourth of July fireworks on the 700 block of Southwest Fifth Street.

A 19-year-old man was arrested at 1:02 p.m. Monday for disorderly conduct. The man was arrested following a report of threats at Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center, 523 N. Third St. He was apparently causing a disturbance and threatening patients.

A 27-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman were arrested at 2:01 a.m. Monday following a traffic stop on North Fifth and Washington streets. Both were arrested for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and the man was also arrested for driving after revocation.

A 21-year-old man was arrested at 7:32 a.m. Sunday following a report of property damage on the 700 block of Kingwood Street. The man was arrested for a probation violation and damage to property.

A 35-year-old man was arrested at 5:32 p.m. Saturday at Mill Avenue and H Street for third-degree drug possession, fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A 50-year-old man was arrested at 11:09 p.m. Friday following a traffic stop at South Ninth and Oak streets. The man was arrested for third-degree driving under the influence.

A 22-year-old woman was arrested at 6:47 p.m. Friday following a traffic stop at North Seventh and Kingwood streets. The woman was arrested for a gross misdemeanor warrant for introducing contraband in a locked facility.

A 37-year-old man and a 32-year-old man were arrested at 1:52 a.m. Friday for disorderly conduct. The arrests came after officers received a report of intoxicated men lying in the street on the 200 block of Laurel Street.

THEFT-The theft of a bicycle was reported Monday from a front yard on the 1600 block of Ninth Avenue Northeast. The bike was bright orange.

BEAR-Report of a black bear walking through a yard at 8:21 a.m. Monday on the 2000 block of Pine Street. Officers were unable to locate.

 

Pequot Lakes police

MEDICAL-Report at 5:25 p.m. June 29 of a 2-year-old child that fell from a deck on Olson Street.

FIRE-Report at 3:39 p.m. June 26 of a vehicle fire at Highway 371 and County Highway 17.
