Baxter Police

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 12:36 a.m. Friday, June 4, of several people loitering at Taco Bell, 14175 Edgewood Drive.

Report at 9:39 p.m. Wednesday of someone lighting a flame in the parking lot at Whipple Beach, 14441 Oakwood Drive. An officer spoke with the subjects, who said someone lit hand sanitizer on fire, and advised them of their actions.

Report at 10:15 p.m. May 31 of a vehicle driving across the Walmart parking lot, 7295 Glory Road, with his passenger door open, a cracked windshield and temporary Arkansas tags. The driver was given a verbal warning for driving after suspension.

Report at 1:03 a.m. May 29 of a suspicious vehicle at Brenny Funeral Home, 7348 Excelsior Road. Driver was tired and had pulled over to take a nap. The driver was sent on their way.

ARRESTS — A 38-year-old man was arrested on a warrant and cited for disorderly conduct following the report of a disturbance at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Walmart, 7295 Glory Road.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 3:08 p.m. Wednesday of a group of people swearing, talking loudly and making a racial slur at China Buffet, 14091 Baxter Drive, Suite 108. An officer made contact and arrested one of the subjects on an active warrant. All parties left.

Report at 9:54 p.m. June 1 of a fight brewing in the parking lot of Taco Bell, 14175 Edgewood Drive. There was no fight upon the officers’ arrival, but the parties present were warned for loitering.

THEFTS — Report Thursday of a bike stolen the previous night from the 13000 block of Elmwood Drive.

Report June 1 of a theft on the 17000 block of Johnson Road, Brainerd.

Brainerd police

THEFTS — Report June 1 of a theft on the 100 block of Fourth Avenue Northeast.

Report May 29 of a bicycle stolen from the 400 block of East River Road.

BURGLARY — Report June 1 of a detached garage burgled on the 300 block of Bluff Avenue.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 1:02 a.m. June 1 of a suspicious person on Laurel Street. A man was cited for loud music violating the noise ordinance.

Report at 7:34 a.m. May 30 of a suspicious person on the 1000 block of Rosewood Street. A male was cited for minor consumption and tampering with a motor vehicle.

Report at 4:14 a.m. May 30 of a vehicle parked in a field on the 10000 block of Thiesse Road with no other vehicles around. An officer found the vehicle to be unoccupied.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 11:50 p.m. May 30 of a person yelling on the 1000 block of South Seventh Street.

Report at 1:23 a.m. May 29 of a disturbance on the 700 block of Laurel Street. The parties separated for the rest of the night.

Report at 12:44 a.m. May 29 of a disturbance on the 700 block of Laurel Street. The parties separated.

Repot at 7:34 p.m. May 28 of a verbal disturbance on the 3000 block of Oak Street. The parties agreed to separate.

ARRESTS — A 42-year-old man was arrested at 10:59 p.m. May 30 on the 800 block of 10th Avenue Northeast for misdemeanor domestic assault and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

A 24-year-old woman was arrested at 10:42 p.m. May 29 on the 1000 block of Oak Street for misdemeanor domestic assault and disorderly conduct.

A 33-year-old woman was arrested at 8:25 p.m. May 29 for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated following the report of a suspicious vehicle on Riverside Drive and Island Drive.

A 55-year-old woman was arrested at 3:33 p.m. May 28 on the 1000 block of Norwood Street for misdemeanor harassment restraining order violation.

A 72-year-old man was arrested at 12:22 p.m. on the 1000 block of South Sixth Street for domestic assault and disorderly conduct.

Breezy Point police

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 12:30 a.m. June 1 of the sound of someone trying to open a side deck door at a residence on the 32000 block of Peony Lane. An officer responded and did not locate anyone.

Report at 10:17 a.m. May 25 of two people possibly fighting in a vehicle that abruptly pulled behind Ace Hardware, 8170 County Highway 11. The driver was the only occupant and said he crossed the center line and jerked the vehicle to the right before turning into the parking lot. He was warned for inattentive driving.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 7:21 p.m. May 29 of a 12-year-old male with a knife at a residence. After mediating with the mother and deployed father, the juvenile was transferred to his aunt’s house in Nisswa for the evening.

Report at 10:52 p.m. May 28 of a subject showing up uninvited to a neighbor’s campfire on the 29000 block of Sioux Drive. The subject was on a four-wheeler and was believed to be intoxicated. Complainants took the subject’s keys and tried to send him home. Officers made contact with the subject at his residence. The four-wheeler was brought to his residence, and he was informed he could pick up his keys in the morning from the police department.

THEFT — Report May 29 of padlocks and signs stolen and damage to a fence on the 8000 block of County Highway 11.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 8:50 p.m. June 1 of a disturbance on the 18000 block of Hartley Lake Road, Brainerd. The homeowner was yelling for her runaway dogs.

Report at 7:07 p.m. June 1 of a disturbance on the 27000 block of Pelican Lake Road, Merrifield. Deputies responded and found a verbal argument.

Report at 7 p.m. May 29 of a disturbance between a male and a female on the 27000 block of County Highway 36, Aitkin.

Report at 12:32 a.m. May 26 of a man threatening another party at Camp Holiday & Resort Campground, 27406 Round Lake Road, Deerwood.

Report at 11:27 p.m. May 28 of a disturbance on the 17000 block of County Highway 2, Brainerd. The parties were separated.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 8:35 p.m. May 30 of suspicious activity at Speedway, 11027 Crystal Lake Road, Merrifield. Deputies responded and arrested a subject on active warrants.

Report at 5:34 p.m. May 30 of suspicious activity on the 8000 block of 50th Avenue, Brainerd. A 26-year-old woman was arrested on a Wright county warrant.

Report at 4:06 a.m. May 29 of a suspicious vehicle on the 15000 block of Pine Shores Road, Brainerd. It was found to be a newspaper delivery person.

Report at 12:06 p.m. May 28 of someone walking into the complainant’s residence on the 39000 block of White Pine Street, Emily. The deputy learned it was a miscommunication between a Realtor and the owner.

THEFTS — Report May 30 of trespassing and the theft of firewood on the 5000 block of Birchdale Road, Brainerd.

Report May 28 of a vehicle stolen from the 24000 block of County Highway 26, Garrison.

Report May 28 of a theft on the 6000 block of Edgewater Circle, Garrison.

BURGLARY — Report May 28 of a burglary on the 6000 block of Estate Circle Drive, Brainerd. Charges are pending against the suspect.

Morrison County sheriff

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 5:18 a.m. Wednesday of a dog and a black truck that was occupied sitting at an apartment building on the 400 block of Pine Avenue, Motley. The complainant said the truck had been there all night. The deputy spoke with the subject, who said he was sleeping in his truck because he was going to visit someone in the apartment building. He was advised he would have to move on.

Report at 9:11 p.m. May 30 of a man looking into windows, last seen walking west on the 33000 block of Quest Road, Pierz. Deputies made contact with the subject, who was under the influence, possibly of shrooms. He was transported to St. Gabriel’s Hospital for an evaluation because he made a comment to his brother about being suicidal.

Report at 3:29 p.m. May 27 of a suspicious vehicle parked on a field approach near a residence on the 10000 block of 195th Street, Little Falls. The occupant had pulled off the highway for a meeting over the phone.

Report at 8:56 p.m. May 22 of a suspicious package delivered to the 700 block of Buck Lane, Little Falls. The package had no name on it and was marked hazardous.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 7:17 p.m. June 1 of harassment and trespassing on the 27000 block of East Jade Trail. The complainant said the man came onto his property and threatened to burn his house down and has been continually yelling at him. The subject had already been warned and had been served with a no trespass order in November. He was cited for trespassing, as the jail would not accept him.

Report at 12:06 a.m. May 30 of a disturbance at Frosty’s Bar & Grill, 214 Main St. S., Pierz. Both parties had left before deputies arrived.

THEFT — Report May 23 of two bikes stolen from the 200 block of Eighth Street Southeast, Little Falls.

ARRESTS — A 52-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct at 4:45 p.m. May 23 on the 900 block of Sixth Avenue Northeast, Little Falls, after a complainant reported someone threw an egg at her door.

A 21-year-old man was arrested following the complaint of a fight in an alley at 3:16 p.m. May 22 on Second Street Southeast and First Avenue Southeast, Little Falls. The victim said she had been assaulted by her boyfriend. The suspect was taken into custody and later jailed after officers found narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

Nisswa police

ARREST — A 36-year-old man was arrested for first-degree drug possession and sale of drugs following a traffic stop at 8:46 p.m. May 29 on State Highway 371 and Olson Road, Pequot Lakes.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 9:06 p.m. May 27 of a suspicious vehicle on the 4000 block of County Highway 29, Pequot Lakes.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — Report at 8:22 p.m. May 25 of subjects doing doughnuts in a field on Highway 371 and County Highway 13. Subjects admitted it was not their property and were advised they should find somewhere else to off-road.

Pequot Lakes police

ARREST — A juvenile was arrested at 5 p.m. May 29 for underage drinking and driving and possession of alcohol by a minor following a traffic stop on Ski Chalet Drive and Rainier Drive, Breezy Point.
