WEDDING FIGHT-A 35-year-old man was arrested after a report of a fight at a wedding party at 8:59 p.m. Saturday on the 9700 block of 50th Avenue, Brainerd. Sheriff's deputies and Baxter police officers arrived at the location and the suspect was located at his residence. The man was arrested for disorderly conduct.

ARRESTS-A 44-year-old woman was arrested at 10:35 p.m. Sunday on the 7500 block of Pheasant Lane, Pequot Lakes. The woman was arrested for misdemeanor domestic assault.

A 35-year-old man was arrested at 10:36 p.m. Saturday following a report of a disturbance by an intoxicated male on the 21000 block of Semler Road, Deerwood. The man was arrested for disorderly conduct and fifth-degree assault.

A 37-year-old man was arrested following a report of an assault on the 10000 block of Leisure Lane, Brainerd. The man was arrested for fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

THEFT-Report Sunday of the theft of fishing tackle on Town Hall Street, Brainerd.

AGGRESSIVE DOG-Report at 11:57 a.m. Sunday of an aggressive dog on the 19000 block of Bon Arbor Trail, Brainerd.

ASSAULT-Report at 12:39 a.m. Sunday of an assault on the 13000 block of County Highway 8, Brainerd. The caller reported being punched in the eye.

DISTURBANCE-Report at 12:01 a.m. Saturday of a disturbance on the 33000 block of Wild Berry Lane, Pequot Lakes. The disturbance was determined to be a verbal argument.

BURGLARY-Report Friday of a burglary from a storage shed on the 16000 block of Highway 371.

THEFT-Report at 2:09 a.m. Friday of a theft by shoplifting at the Holiday Stationstore, 27390 Highway 18, Garrison. The caller said a clerk at the gas station asked him to call police on two suspicious people in the gas station. It was later determined these people ate food inside the store and then left without paying for it. Both were located and issued tickets for theft.

DOMESTIC-Report at 1:46 p.m. Monday of a domestic disturbance on the 9400 block of Wise Road.

ARRESTS- A 20-year-old man was arrested at 12:45 a.m., May 31, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated, third-degree refusal, driving after suspension, allowing open bottle in motor vehicle, under 21 consumption of alcohol, and violation of conditions of probation after a traffic stop on East Main Street near Hallett Avenue.

-- A 33-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct at 1:45 a.m., June 3, after an officer observed a male riding a bicycle in the center of the roadway on East Main Street at Cross Avenue. The officer had also received a complaint that the same male had been causing a disturbance. Officer made contact with the male who was cursing and yelling loudly.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY-Officer responded on June 4 to the 600 block of Superior Avenue and checked the surrounding area after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area whose occupants were attempting to talk to some kids. Officer was unable to locate the described vehicle at that time.

 

Brainerd police

DISTURBANCE-A juvenile male was issued a citation for disorderly conduct at 4:19 a.m. Tuesday on the 100 block of North First Street.

At 11:29 p.m. Monday on the 200 block of West Laurel Street, a complainant reported hearing a female screaming for help from across the street. Officers were unable to locate anyone in distress.

INFORMATION-At 5:55 p.m. Monday in downtown Brainerd, officers were advised of kids on some downtown rooftops. Officers made contact and issued the two subjects verbal warnings for trespassing. Parents were notified and advised as well. Buildings in question were on the 200 block of South Eighth Street and 700 block of Laurel Street.

ARRESTS-A 26-year-old man was arrested at 5:07 p.m. Monday at the intersection of North Third and Juniper streets for felony probation violation.

A juvenile male was arrested at 2:17 p.m. Monday on the 1100 block of Mill Avenue for felony and gross misdemeanor probation violation.

PUBLIC ASSIST-At 1:47 a.m. Monday on the 400 block of C Street, an officer assisted a female with removing a bat from her residence.
