FIRE - A report at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday of a fire in an outbuilding, where there was a wood burner inside, on Crow Wing County Road 19, Merrifield. Mission Fire responded.
A report at 2:37 a.m. Tuesday of a resident with a high carbon monoxide reading on Windy Ridge Road, Brainerd. Everyone was out of the house.

KIDS - A report at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday of kids walking in the area of Inglewood Drive and Excelsior Road pointing a laser light at vehicles as they pass. Officers were unable to locate.

THEFT - Brainerd General Rental, 15248 Highway 371, Tuesday reported a theft of services.
ANIMAL - A report at 9:41 a.m. Tuesday that the complainant was jogging and a large German Shepherd “cornered” him for about 10 minutes and he didn’t have his cellphone with. A lady was trying to help him but she said it wasn’t her dog. The dog had a choke collar but no tags. The owner was located, who said the dog’s collar slipped.

JUVENILE - A report 5:39 p.m. Tuesday that the complainant’s daughter was assaulted at Brainerd High School (BHS), 702 S. Fifth St.
A report at 2:14 p.m. Tuesday that a male student was causing a disturbance in student services at BHS.
THEFT - A report at 5:21 p.m. Tuesday of a house that was burglarized on the 500 block of League Avenue. Items were taken over the past four months.
