Baxter police

ARREST — A 37-year-old man was arrested at 12:37 a.m. Thursday following a suspicious vehicle report on the 7400 block of Excelsior Road.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 2:02 p.m. Wednesday of an assault at Forestview Middle School, 12149 Knollwood Drive.

SUSPICIOUS —Report at 7:21 p.m. Thursday of a suspicious person going through the garbage bin on the 7900 block of Highway 210. Officer contacted the business that stated the person had permission.

Report at 12:37 a.m. Thursday of a suspicious vehicle in the empty JCPenney parking lot, 7352 Glory Road. The person was sleeping in their car. Person was advised of safer areas to park.


Report at 11:57 p.m. Wednesday of a homeless person sleeping in their vehicle at Whipple Beach Recreation Area, 14441 Oakwood Drive.

Report at 12:59 p.m. Wednesday of a male making inappropriate advances toward an employee at a business on the 15000 block of Edgewood Drive.

BURGLARY — Report Thursday that someone stole various items out of a pole barn on the 15000 block of Dellwood Drive.

THEFTS — Report at 6:54 p.m. Wednesday of a phone stolen from Walmart, 7295 Glory Road. A 56-year-old woman was arrested for theft.

Report Wednesday of a theft of a Husquavarna chainsaw taken from a garage on the 4400 block of Cedar Scenic Road.

Report Tuesday of a theft from a safe on the 15000 block of Audubon Way.

Brainerd police

ARRESTS — A 33-year-old man was arrested at 11:35 p.m. Tuesday for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop on South Eighth and Front streets.

A 34-year-old man was arrested at 9:22 p.m. Sept. 27 for fourth-degree assault on the 2400 block of Hillcrest Drive.

A 44-year-old woman was arrested at 12:33 p.m. Sept. 27 for obstructing the legal process following a report of an intoxicated woman needing assistance on the 1500 block of Mill Avenue.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 4:24 p.m. Tuesday of an assault at Brainerd High School, 702 S. Fifth St.

Report at 3:37 p.m. Tuesday of a domestic disturbance on the 1600 block of Saint Louis Avenue.

Report at 7:49 p.m. Sept. 27 of a fight on the 200 block of Gillis Avenue. Officers made contact and people said it was a verbal argument only and they agreed to separate for the night.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday of a suspicious vehicle at Lum Park, 1619 NE Washington St. People were advised of park hours.

Report at 10:12 p.m. Tuesday of a suspicious vehicle on South 11th and Norwood streets. A male was cited for misdemeanor open bottle and driving after revocation.

Report at 7:56 p.m. Tuesday of suspicious activity on the 1100 block of 10th Avenue Northeast.

Report at 2:48 a.m. Tuesday of a person biking at night without a light on Laurel Street.

Report at 2:50 p.m. of a vehicle loitering in the parking lot on the 1900 block of South Sixth Street. Officers checked the parking lot and the vehicle was gone.

Report at 11:59 a.m. Sept. 27 of a domestic disturbance on the 300 block of South Seventh Street. Officers assisted and an intoxicated person left.

Crow Wing sheriff

DISTURBANCES — Report at 4:26 p.m. Tuesday of a domestic disturbance on the 17000 block of Highway 210, Ironton. Deputies mediated the situation.

Report at 4:26 a.m. Tuesday of a domestic disturbance on the 10000 block of Crescent Drive, Nisswa. Deputies advised the people involved.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 7:34 p.m. Tuesday of a suspicious red four-wheeler on the 9300 block of Five Mile Road, Brainerd. Caller would like extra patrol.

Report at 9:03 a.m. Tuesday of suspicious activity at Emily Meats, Jones Taxidermy and Wild Game, 39990 Highway 6, Emily.

Little Falls police

DISTURBANCES — Report at 7:47 p.m. Sept. 27 of a domestic dispute on the 600 block of Florence Avenue.

Report at 6:19 p.m. Sept. 26 of a domestic dispute on the 800 block of Buck Lane.

Report at 12:24 a.m. Sept. 26 of a possible fight behind Rustic Horse Saloon, 112 First St. SE.

Report at 12:04 a.m. Sept. 26 of a possible domestic dispute on the northwest side. Officers made contact and people involved said it was nothing physical and the male agreed to leave for the night.

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 5:22 p.m. Sept. 27 of a suspicious woman on Lindbergh Drive South. The woman told the officer she was waiting for a ride.

Report at 4:44 p.m. Sept. 26 of a suspicious male on a motorized bike with a cap gun on the 400 block of Seventh Street Northeast. Police were unable to locate.

Report Sept. 26 of several people possibly tampering with vehicles at an auto shop on the 100 block of Sixth Street Northwest. Police responded and didn’t find anyone and there wasn’t any damage to the vehicles.

Several reports about 7:38 p.m. Sept. 25 of a male yelling on the southeast and southwest sides of town. Police could not locate the male.

Report at 11:17 p.m. Sept. 23 of an intoxicated man lying on the ground on Second Street Northeast. A woman was going to take him home.

THEFT — Report Sept. 26 of a vehicle theft on the 300 block of 12th Street Northeast.

FIRE — Report at 4:17 a.m. Sept. 25 of a house fire on the 130000 block of Highway 238, Little Falls. The Little Falls Fire Department was dispatched to the fire. It was reported the house had been vacant for many years. There was heavy fire on the second floor that eventually burned through the roof. The fire was contained to the second floor with heavy water damage on the lower floors. The fire is under investigation by the Minnesota State Fire Marshal's Office.

ARREST — A 36-year-old woman was arrested Sept. 23 following a report of a domestic assault on the 200 block of Eighth Street.

Morrison sheriff

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday of a suspicious male in Augers Motley Express, 1000 Highway 10, Motley, who made employees uncomfortable. The male was wearing boxer briefs and asked a female employee for help finding a Diet Coke. She helped him and stated he said something inappropriate to her. Deputy responded and male denied stating the inappropriate words.

Report at 10:25 a.m. Wednesday of a vehicle at Brandl Motors, 14873 113th St., Little Falls, for several days and staff wanted it gone. Deputy was unable to get a hold of the registered owner and advised Brandl they could have it towed.

Report at 6:06 a.m. Wednesday of the complainant stating he woke up to windows at his residence being broken in Cushing.

Report Sept. 26 of suspicious activity on the 15000 block of Shoreline Drive, Little Falls. Caller believes a person is using drugs at a residence.

ARREST — A 42-year-old man was arrested at 8:56 a.m. Wednesday following a vehicle theft in Cushing.

FIRE — Report at 7:49 p.m. Sept. 26 of a garbage bin on fire on the 8700 block of 175th Street, Little Falls. The property owner stated the property has been vacant for awhile and he was cleaning the house out and didn’t know how the fire had started. He stated nobody had permission to be at the property.
