Brainerd police

SUSPICIOUS - A report at 1:05 a.m. Sunday of a suspicious male hanging out behind a building on the 200 block of Southwest Fourth Street. Officer located male who said he was using the Wi-Fi from a building.

A report at 3:25 p.m. Saturday of a subject harassing the complainant and recently cut down her bird feeder on the 800 block of Ninth Avenue Northeast.

ARRESTS - A 31-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man were arrested at 10:22 p.m. Sunday on the 800 block of Juniper Street following a report of a female yelling and complainant hearing things being thrown about, possibly a physical fight. Man was arrested for felony probation violation and they both were arrested for domestic assault and disorderly conduct.

A 39-year-old man was arrested at 1:31 a.m. Sunday for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated (DWI) driving after revocation, uninsured vehicle, possession of open bottle and possession of a small amount of marijuana during a traffic stop on Chippewa and Washington Streets.


A 29-year-old man was arrested at 12:46 a.m. Sunday on a felony warrant, fleeing on foot and drug paraphernalia following a report of a suspicious male on the 300 block of South Ninth Street.

DISTURBANCE - A report at 11:19 p.m. Sunday of a disturbance in the lobby of the emergency room at Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center, 523 Third St. N.

A report at 9:36 a.m. Saturday of a male yelling and swearing in front of Cub Foods, 417 Eighth Ave. NE. Man, who allegedly attempted to steal from the store the week before, was cited for trespassing.

A report at 3:52 p.m. Friday of a fight in the alley behind The Shop on the 700 block of Washington Street. Subjects were sent on their way.

A report at 1:16 p.m. Friday of a father and son yelling at each other on Southwest Fourth Street. Officers arrived and found unfit conditions.

ASSAULT - A report at 4:30 p.m. Sunday that the complainant's juvenile son was assaulted by another juvenile on the 1500 block of Oak Street.

THEFT - A report Sunday of a theft of hockey equipment at the Brainerd Civic Center, 502 Jackson St. Baxter police reported finding equipment at the Westgate Mall parking lot.

A report Saturday of a theft of a Ab Circle Pro on the 700 block of North Eighth Street.


A report Friday of a theft of a vehicle on the 700 block of Walnut Street.

INTOXICATED - A report at 1:48 a.m. Thursday of an intoxicated male who was with a female drinking downtown together and she left with another guy that he didn't know.

Baxter police

ARRESTS - A 21-year-old man was arrested at 2:03 p.m. Sunday for disorderly conduct following a report that a son tried to push the complainant down the steps on 13000 block of Knollwood Drive.

A 35-year-old man was arrested at 12:34 p.m. Saturday for multiple offenses following a report of a welfare check at Holiday Inn Express, 15739 Audubon Way. The complainant reported they had a hard time getting subject to check out and he was in the van and appeared to be pretending to drive. According to the Crow Wing County Sheriff's office in-custody list, the man was arrested for DWI and obstructing the legal process.

A 41-year-old man and a 44-year-old man were arrested at 12:08 a.m. Saturday for fifth-degree drug possession following a traffic stop on Highways 371 and 210.

DOMESTIC - A report at 4:10 a.m. Sunday of neighbors fighting on the 13000 block of Kenwood Drive. Officer could hear a female yelling very loudly from outside the complex. Officer made contact with subjects, who said it was only a verbal argument, and the female left for the night.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - A report at 10:11 a.m. Saturday of a drive who said his foot slipped off the brake and hit the gas, which caused him to run into the Sprint Store building, 15133 Edgewood Drive.


Crow Wing sheriff

FIRE - A report at 11:33 p.m. Sunday of a fire in the back of a house near a police barn on 12197 Crow Wing County Road 118, Nisswa. Turned out to be a controlled burn.

A report at 10:56 p.m. Friday of a chimney fire on the 21000 block of Semler Road, Deerwood.

THEFT - A report Saturday of a theft of campaign signs on Butternut Road, Brainerd.

A report Friday of a theft of a chainsaw from a garage on the 21000 block of Lake Road, Deerwood.

DISTURBANCE - A report at 6:15 p.m. Friday of a female calling 911 and screaming on the 12000 block of Burgwald Road, Brainerd.

Breezy Point police

PARTY COMPLAINT - A report at 5:23 p.m. Sunday of 30-40 juveniles "partying" at the swimming beach, 27203 Pelican Lake Road, Merrifield. Officers found about 100 juveniles present taking a Pequot Lakes High School sponsored senior class photo on the closed, gated beach.

ARREST - A 62-year-old man was arrested at 9:17 p.m. Friday for fourth-degree DWI and possession of marijuana on County Road 66 and Daggett Pine Road, Crosslake. Driver nearly ran officer over as he was directing traffic.

ASSIST - Assisted with a group of 12 people at 1:09 a.m. Friday who refused to leave Zorbaz Pizza, 36215 County Road 66, Crosslake. The people shot off a fire extinguisher inside the bar.

Pequot Lakes police

THEFT - A report Friday of a theft of a vehicle on Crow Wing County Road 16, Jenkins.

ASSIST - Assisted Pine River police Oct. 1 with two suspects involved in a burglary case who headed toward Emily. Suspects had a handgun and a knife and one suspect was possibly a gang members who had threatened officers in the past

Crosby police

SUSPICIOUS - A report Friday of homeowner on First Street Northwest hearing banging around their house for the last 40 hours. Officers checked and noticed a loose rain gutter on the side of the house. "Officer secured the downspout and all was well in the world."

CRASH - A personal injury crash, involving a semitrailer, was reported Thursday on East Main Street near Hallett Avenue. One person was transported to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.

PROWLER - A report Friday of a possible prowler on Winona Avenue. While en route, officers were canceled as the caller found out it was a friend.

THEFT - A report Thursday of a theft of a front license plate from a vehicle parked in the parking lot on East Main Street.

A report Sept. 29 of a theft of items from a boat trailer parked in a residential yard on Third Street Southwest.

ARRESTS - A 41-year-old man was arrested Sept. 30 for domestic assault following a report of a disturbance.

A 56-year-old woman was arrested at 10:45 p.m. Thursday for fifth-degree assault following a report of a fight on Oak Street.

A 44-year-old man, a 42-year-old woman and a 21-year-old woman were arrested Sept. 29 following a report of a domestic assault on West Main Street.

A juvenile male was arrested Sept. 29 for fleeing from police, obstructing the legal process with force and violating the conditions of his probation, when officers observed him on the 1000 block of Fourth Street Southwest.
