Baxter police

ARRESTS — A 46-year-old woman was arrested at 12:13 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, for disorderly conduct following a domestic dispute on the 14000 block of Grand Oaks Drive.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested at 3:11 a.m. Wednesday for disorderly conduct following a domestic dispute on the 7800 block of Highland Scenic Road.

DISTURBANCE — Report at 6:37 p.m. Wednesday of an unknown male customer who was upset and yelling at staff over how he was treated at Dunham’s Sports, 13136 Baxter Drive.

THEFT — Report Thursday of a shoplifter at Super One Foods, 7895 Excelsior Road. A 34-year-old woman was cited.

Brainerd police

ARRESTS — A 27-year-old man was arrested at 9:21 p.m. Wednesday for misdemeanor disorderly conduct, fifth-degree assault and property damage following a fight on the 700 block of Laurel Street.

A 53-year-old man was arrested at 2:38 a.m. Wednesday for misdemeanor disorderly conduct and domestic assault following a domestic disturbance on the 700 block of Pine Street.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 8:21 p.m. Thursday of a domestic disturbance on the 100 block of North First Street.

Report at 8:47 a.m. Wednesday of a domestic disturbance on the 600 block of South Sixth Street.

Crow Wing sheriff

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 4:24 p.m. Thursday of suspicious activity on the 21000 block of Libby Road, Emily. Emily police arrested a person.

Report at 12:50 a.m. Thursday of a person sitting under a light pole after dark at highways 18 and 25, Brainerd. The person refused assistance from the deputy.

Little Falls police

DISTURBANCES — Report at 7:57 p.m. Tuesday of a verbal dispute on the 400 block of Seventh Street Southeast.


Report Sept. 11 of a female continuously cursing and swearing on First Avenue Southwest at Ninth Street. The female had left prior to the officer's arrival.

Report at 2:27 a.m. Sept. 11 of a fight at Rustic Horse Saloon, 112 First Street SE.

Report at 10:45 p.m. Sept. 8 of a house party on the 300 block of Second Street Southeast where people were outside being loud. Police responded and people agreed to return inside and be quieter.

Report at 12:01 a.m. Sept. 8 of people throwing stuff at a house on the 800 block of Eighth Street Northwest.

BURGLARY — Report at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday of a theft from a garage of an apartment on the 800 block of Ann Marie Circle.

FIRE — Report at 11:02 p.m. Sept. 13 of hearing a possible explosion leading to a power outage on Fifth Avenue Southeast. Officers responded and located a power pole down. The Little Falls Fire Department and Minnesota Power responded.

SUSPICIOUS — Report Sept. 13 of seeing a male walk down the street with a snow blower on Second Avenue Southeast.

Report Sept. 11 of two suspicious people on the 1700 block of First Avenue Northeast. Officers made contact and the two people were homeless and trying to get to Fargo, North Dakota. A deputy transported them to Motley by their request.


Report at 12:44 a.m. Sept. 11 of suspicious activity at the Family Dollar, 205 Sixth St. NE. It appeared two people were attempting to break in, but there was no visible damage.

ARRESTS — A 51-year-old man was arrested at 11:26 p.m. Sept. 12 following suspicious activity on the 700 block of First Street Northeast.

Morrison sheriff

SUSPICIOUS — Report at 10:03 p.m. Wednesday of a truck driving around a nearby field on Stanek Drive, Little Falls. Deputies were canceled when the complainant called back to say it was a neighbor looking for their cat.

Report at 2:28 a.m. Tuesday of a person knocking on the door on the 38000 block of Highway 27, Hillman, asking for a ride to Onamia because his vehicle broke down.

Report at 11:03 p.m. Sept. 12 of a note on the complainant’s door stating “call this number, best to hurry” on Mobile Drive, Randall. The complainant called it and received a text back from the number saying, “glad to see you did it quickly. Wait for the next direction.” The complainant figured out it was from a neighbor and he does not want the person around. Deputies advised him about seeking a restraining order.

Report at 4:56 p.m. Sept. 12 of a plane landing on Great River Road, Little Falls. The pilot stated he was having engine problems and had to land.

ARREST — A 23-year-old man was arrested at 5:40 a.m. Wednesday for theft and possession of stolen property at Camp Ripley, 15550 Highway 115, Little Falls.

DISTURBANCES — Report at 7:29 p.m. Sept 12 of an intoxicated father arguing with his son on Ginger Road, Little Falls. The son then called and stated his father had left in a vehicle.
