A 32-year-old man was arrested Monday following a pursuit on Highway 10 that ended in Cushing.
The Morrison County Sheriff's Office paged the Motley Police Department at 7:58 a.m. to assist with a driving complaint. It was reported a white Chevrolet Impala was heading north on Highway 10 and was driving erratically. The police department located the vehicle in Motley and initiated a traffic stop. The vehicle failed to stop and headed south at a very high rate of speed. The vehicle then crossed through the center median and continued travelling south in the northbound lanes of Highway 10. The vehicle came to a stop when spike strips were deployed in Cushing.
The driver was taken into custody in the Morrison County Jail and charges may be filed for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and fleeing a peace officer.
The Minnesota State Patrol assisted with the pursuit.
