ONAMIA — Mille Lacs Tribal Police are investigating the death of an 18-year-old man found Tuesday, Nov. 17, with multiple stab wounds on the Mille Lacs Reservation.
Police received a report at 12:25 a.m. of an assault on Nay Ah Shing Drive on the Mille Lacs Reservation, north of Onamia. Tribal police found the unresponsive man with multiple stab wounds, police reported in a news release. Aid was rendered and it was determined the victim was dead.
Tribal police are investigating the death, with assistance from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. Police were not releasing any further details on the case Tuesday, according to a news release.
