LITTLE FALLS - The body of a 34-year-old Little Falls man was recovered from the Mississippi River near the Burlington Northern Railroad Bridge in Little Falls Sunday and now the Little Falls Police Department is looking for a friend who was supposed to meet the man near the bridge.

Police are looking for 36-year-old Michael Robert Arndt.

Arndt was supposed to meet William Lee Blake near the railroad bridge on the north side of Little Falls.

Blake was last seen after he was dropped off near the railroad bridge the night of Oct. 14. Police said Blake was supposed to meet with Arndt that night. Blake was reported missing Friday. Arndt has been reported as missing and investigators are looking for any information from the public that could assist in locating him. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Little Falls Police Department at 320-616-5570.

Members of Morrison and Stearns counties' water rescue teams recovered Blake's body Sunday from the river. His body was transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office in St. Paul. The incident is under investigation by the Little Falls Police Department, Morrison County Sheriff's Office and Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force.

According to a release from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the bodies of an adult man, woman and infant were discovered at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
