BRAINERD — Brainerd police released more information in the investigation into a death in Brainerd Dec. 23.
Police received a report of an unresponsive male at 9:47 p.m. Dec. 23 inside a residence on the 400 block of Tyrol Drive.
Deputy Police Chief John Davis said Tuesday, Jan. 4, the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was 31 years old. He was transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
Police have not identified the man, as the incident is still an active criminal investigation.
Davis said there is no threat to the public.

Brainerd officers, along with deputies from the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office and medical crew from North Memorial Health Ambulance responded to the incident.
