The Brainerd Fire Department responded to a possible stove fire Wednesday and several calls early Thursday.
Firefighters were called at 7:13 p.m. Wednesday to a residence on the 800 block of Walnut Street, Ridgeview Apartments, for a possible stove fire. The crew was canceled en route.
At 8:26 a.m. Thursday, firefighters were called to a residence on the 12000 block of Little Pine Road for a carbon monoxide check. It was determined to be unfounded.
Then at 9:30 a.m., a report of smoke was in the area near Johnson Road. The call was unfounded. Firefighters also assisted at a crash at 12:32 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 18 and 25.
