The Brainerd Fire Department was called at 6:24 p.m. Tuesday to a possible structure fire on the 900 block of South Sixth Street. Upon arrival, firefighters investigated and determined the smoke was from a nearby grill.
Firefighters also were called at 11:47 a.m. Wednesday to a fire alarm at the Northern Lights Apartments, 511 D St., Brainerd. Firefighters determined construction set off the alarm.
