Rep. John Poston, R-Lake Shore, Wednesday, Jan. 2, announced his committee assignments for the 2019-2020 legislative sessions.
Poston was named to three committees: Agriculture and Food Finance and Policy, Public Safety and Criminal Justice Reform Finance and Policy, and the Subcommittee on Corrections.
"My committee assignments for the coming legislative session will give me the opportunity to work on issues that matter most to my constituents like ensuring that agriculture remains a priority at the Legislature and that our communities are safe," Poston said in a news release. "I look forward to getting back to work in St. Paul-representing the priorities of Wadena, Cass, and Todd counties. Please do not hesitate to contact me with your ideas and thoughts on the coming legislative session, it would be an honor to hear from you."
Poston is set to begin his second term in the Minnesota House representing District 9A, which includes portions of Cass, Todd, and Wadena counties. The legislative session begins Jan. 8.
