BAXTER-Two property damage incidents-with projectiles used to cause damage to two residences-appear to be connected, and authorities are asking for the public's help.
The two incidents occured about the same time, with the first one at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at a residence on the 4100 block of Cedar Scenic Road. The second incident was shortly after on the 12000 block of Little Pine Road, west of Baxter in Cass County.
Sgt. David Timm of the Baxter Police Department said police are investigating the incident, during which a projectile caused damage to a window at the residence on Cedar Scenic Road. Although the calls into dispatchers reported possible gunshots, Timm said police are confident a firearm did not cause the damage.
Timm said it appears the two incidents may be connected, and no one was hurt.
Anyone who may have seen or heard anything about these two incidents is asked to call Baxter police at 218-454-5090 or the Cass County Sheriff's Office at 218-547-1424.
Police do not have a detailed description of the suspect vehicle, but stated it was an older, larger truck.
