As plans move forward to reconfigure the current Baxter Elementary School into an early childhood center, the Brainerd School Board is working to identify a name for the new facility.

The board requests input from the community for the name. Ideas can be submitted via a short survey at www.blueprint181.org . Name submissions will be accepted through Feb. 28. Community members will then be invited to vote for their favorite finalist on www.blueprint181.org in March.

The top three names will be shared with school board members at a meeting this spring, when they choose the final name.
