The U.S. Department of Agriculture Renewable Energy for America program will conduct a grant workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on Jan. 28 at the Brainerd Public Library at 416 S. Fifth St.
Ron Omann, Minnesota state energy coordinator and USDA Rural Development staffer, will speak at the workshop.
Those attending will learn information on the timeline for 2015 application cycle and changes to a new program. There is no cost to the program but organizers are requesting pre-registration which is available at http://2015reapworkshop.eventbrite.com .
