PIERZ — A 25-year-old Pierz woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, west of Pierz.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported a Chevrolet Malibu was traveling east on Highway 27 when it rear-ended a Dodge Ram stopped in the road, waiting for a vehicle to turn left. The Dodge Ram then rear-ended a Dodge Journey that was also stopped waiting for the vehicle to turn left.
The driver of the Malibu, Cynthia R. Lee, who did not have a seat belt on, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls, the state patrol reported. None of the others involved in the crash suffered injuries — the driver of the Journey, Tammy A. O’Neil, 58, Pierz; the driver of the Ram, Jacqueline J. Lattimer, 52; and her passenger Kelly L. Korf, 48, both of Blaine.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office, Pierz Fire Department and North Memorial Health Ambulance assisted at the scene.
