WADENA - The Red Cross Bloodmobile at the Wadena Elks Lodge Monday and Tuesday included first-time givers and those who have donated up to 17 gallons.
On Monday, the Red Cross had a goal of 90 units and 108 units were received. Tuesday's goal of 68 units produced 59 units. Overall, the blood drive gained nine units above its goal. There were three first-time blood donors. Double red blood units were collected both days.
Those receiving "Gallon Pins" included: 17 gallons, Chester Anderson, Verndale; 16 gallons, Allan Lynk, Wadena; 13 gallons, Terry Mickunas, Sebeka; 8 gallons, John Keranen, Menagha; 7 gallons, Don Johnson, Verndale; 4 gallons, Cindy Lanz, Wadena; 2 gallons, Lori Meeks, Wadena; and 1 gallon, Rose Heiling and Gary Lehnhoff, Sebeka; and Kelsey Ditsworth, Wadena.
The Red Cross Bloodmobile thanked everyone for a successful blood drive.
