The Brainerd Girl Scouts will hold a recruitment event at 6 p.m., Monday, in the Brainerd High School cafeteria. Interested families may learn more about the Girl Scouts and sign up for a troop. The membership fee is $15 and scholarships are available.
If unable to attend the event, call Annette Weber at 838-5912 or complete a registration form with membership fee and return to the Brainerd Girl Scout Office, 803 Kingwood Street, Suite 305, Brainerd.
Girl Scouts in grades kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to attend Girl Scout Night at Camp Ripley from 6-9 p.m. Oct. 3. This event is for new and returning girls and will be held at the Camp Ripley Environmental Center. The girls will be working on a badge, making a snack, crafting and more. Registration is required and must be returned by Monday to the office.
