The 20th Annual Chippewa Triathlon begins at 7 a.m., June 13th, at the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) Rest Area, on Highway 2, at the east edge of the city of Cass Lake.
The event course includes canoeing, biking and running. This triathlon can be completed solo or as a team. Registrations are being taken online at chippewatriathlon.com.

The fee is $50 per participant for registrations postmarked or completed by April 15. The event is limited to 300 participants.
A rising fee scale goes into effect after April 15. Registration will not be taken the day of the event.

The 14-mile canoe route takes participants through pristine lakes and portages following the "Pike Bay Connection" in the heart of the Chippewa National Forest. The 27-mile bike course begins on Steamboat Lake and weaves through the forest and around many of the lakes traveled during the canoe leg of the event. The 7-mile run begins at the Cass Lake MnDOT Rest Area and ends at the Norway Beach Campground - a Chippewa National Forest Campground.
