After a resident came home to find an unknown man in his bathroom, the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office made an arrest for first-degree burglary and fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct.

At 4:50 p.m. Wednesday, the sheriff's office received a call from a resident of an apartment complex on the 6000 block of Simko Drive in Unorganized Territory. The resident told deputies he confronted the man in his bathroom, after which the man ran out of the building and into the woods.

Shortly after deputies arrived, they located the suspect walking down the road a short distance from the apartment complex. The sheriff's office reported he was extremely intoxicated and was partially dressed.

Further investigation revealed the suspect was involved in an altercation at a neighboring apartment, where he got into a fight and was inappropriately grabbing a female. The suspect left that apartment and went into the apartment where he was found by the resident.

The man was transported to the Crow Wing County Jail and booked on the burglary and criminal sexual conduct charges.
