PINE RIVER - Happy Dancing Turtle will host Resilient Action Day (RAD) from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, at the Hunt Utilities Group (HUG) campus, Pine River.
This day-long event features practical, hands-on workshops to help boost resilience. The workshop topics include: Build a guild for resilience-the permaculture way, phenology, winterization and energy efficiency, season extension, bike maintenance, foraging, compost tea brewing and cooking with herbs.
Cost for the day is $15, with several of the workshops offering optional, take home materials for an additional fee. Bring a lunch or visit a local restaurant.
