ST. CLOUD-Motorists on Highway 15 between Highway 23/Division Street in St. Cloud and the Highway 15/Benton Drive interchange in Sauk Rapids may encounter delays as segments of the road are reduced to a single lane overnight beginning Monday, April 18, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said in a release.
The closures will occur from 7:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. up to seven days per week. No closures are currently planned from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sundays.
The closures are needed while crews resurface Highway 15 between Highway 23/Division Street in St. Cloud and the Benton Drive interchange in Sauk Rapids, and improve the Highway 15/12th Street N intersection and the Highway 15/County Road 1 intersection, MnDOT said.
When complete, the project will result in a smoother ride, improve traffic flow and accessibility and improve pedestrian safety, the release said.
