Rollover crash claims life of 40-year-old man

The driver of the Chevrolet Tahoe was pronounced dead at the scene.

CROSBY — A 40-year-old Crosby man was killed Saturday, April 10, in a single vehicle crash near Crosby.

The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office was called at 8:12 p.m. to the rollover crash near the 24000 Block of Crow Wing County Highway 11. A 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling east on County Highway 11, when it left the roadway and rolled over, the sheriff’s office reported.

The driver of the Tahoe was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the driver is being withheld, pending the notification of family.

The crash is under investigation by the sheriff’s office and the Minnesota State Patrol.

The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Crosby Police Department, Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Ambulance Service, Cuyuna and Aitkin fire departments.
