AITKIN-A 19-year-old man was partially ejected from the Chevrolet Silverado he was driving Wednesday when he lost control of the truck when it went into the ditch and rolled several times, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.
The state patrol and Aitkin Police Department responded to the one-vehicle rollover crash at 3:52 a.m. Wednesday. Devon Michael Smithson of Isle was traveling west on Highway 47 in Spencer Township in Aitkin County when the crash happened. Smithson was transported to Riverwood Healthcare Center Hospital in Aitkin for non-life-threatening injuries.
The state patrol reported that Smithson was not wearing his seat belt and the airbag did not deploy.
