A Crow Wing County sheriff deputy had minor injuries when his squad vehicle rolled over at 7:07 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 371 near St. Columbo Road, north of Baxter.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office reported deputy Nathan Smolke was traveling north on Highway 371, when he hit an area of standing water in the roadway causing his squad to hydroplane and go into the east ditch and rollover, landing on its roof.
Smolke, who was responding to a medical emergency call at the time of the crash, was taken to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, where he was treated and then released.
