Sample classes being offered at library

Brainerd Community Education and the Friends of the Brainerd Public Library have teamed up to offer free classes Jan. 16 for community members to try at the library.

Brainerd Community Education and the Friends of the Brainerd Public Library have teamed up to offer free classes Jan. 16 for community members to try at the library.

Classes begin at 9 a.m. Instructors in the upcoming Community Education guide will each spend an hour sharing their passion for and introducing participants to their class.

The classes are:

• 9-10 a.m., Zumba.

• 10-11 a.m., T'ai Chi and Chi Kung.

• 11 a.m. to noon, Theatre.

• 1-2 p.m., Stained glass.

• 2-3 p.m., Watercolor.

• 3-4 p.m., Nutrition and fitness.

Registration is limited and will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Call the library at 218-829-5574 to register. People can sign up for as many classes as they'd like.
