Sheriff Todd Dahl and Crow Wing County TRIAD announced an upcoming event intended to enhance senior safety.
The event, "Be Wise, Be Informed, Be Empowered," will focus on cons and scams education and will be 10-11:30 a.m., April 7. It will take place in the Crow Wing County Land Services meeting room at 322 Laurel St., Brainerd.
The guest speaker will be Gary Johnson of the Better Business Bureau.
The event is free and coffee and cookies will be served.
