Join photographers of all ages and abilities to find pollinators on native plants in the Brainerd lakes area as part of the 2021 Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation District photo contest.

“This is a great opportunity for people to discover, explore and learn about native plants that grow around the Brainerd lakes area and photograph the progression of plants and trees from spring to fall,” Adam Maleski, a district technician, stated in a news release.

All the entries will be featured on the district’s Facebook page, website and possibly other educational or promotional items for the district.

The first-place winner will receive a 16-by-20 canvas, the second-place winner will receive a 12-by-16 canvas, and the third-place winner will receive a 14-by-14 canvas of their respective photos.

For contest rules, examples of native plants, how to participate in the contest and more, call 218-828-6197 or visit www.cwswcd.org/photo-contest. The deadline to participate is Oct. 31.
