PILLAGER-Four people were arrested following a search warrant at a residence in the Big Water area in Pillager in the early morning Thursday, Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch reported.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant as part of an ongoing investigation. The search warrant resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, marijuana, firearms and drug-related items.
During the search warrant, a 31-year-old Staples woman was arrested for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance; a 34-year-old Audubon man as a felon in possession of a firearm; a 23-year-old Motley man for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and as a felon in possession of a firearm; and a 44-year-old Pillager man for outstanding warrants from Wright County.
Charges were filed against all four subjects with the Cass County Attorney's Office, but are still pending. The incident remains under investigation.
The Pillager Fire Department responded to the scene on stand by, but were not needed.
