The Second Harvest North Central Food Bank pop-up pantries will be throughout the month of September in the lakes area.
Those who participate are asked to stay in the car at all times and follow signs to enter. Food is available to those in need, and there is one food box per household. For those carpooling, there are two boxes allowed per vehicle, still one food box per household. For those with more than two households in a vehicle, participants can receive additional boxes by going to the back of the line. No restrooms will be available.
Pop-up pantries will be in the following locations:
Onamia VFW Parking Lot, 38692 U.S. Highway 169, Onamia — 12:30-2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Onigum Center, 8826 Onigum Road NW, Walker — 2:30-4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10.
Pequot Lakes Chamber of Commerce parking lot, 31095 Government Drive, Pequot Lakes — 10-11:30 a.m. Sept. 14.
Pine River Fairgrounds, 100-198 Main St., Pine River — 10-11:30 a.m. Sept. 16.
Central Lakes College, 501 W. College Drive, Brainerd — 2:30-4 p.m. Sept. 28, produce only.
First Lutheran Church, 107 SE Second St., Aitkin — 10-11:30 a.m. Sept. 30.
Pillager Fairgrounds, 207 S. Second St., Pillager — 1-2:30 p.m. Sept. 30.
