Families create stained glass-like art projects during the Crossing Arts Kids Second Saturday event at the Crossing Arts Alliance in downtown Brainerd by using faux leading and special paint on glass.

The Crossing Arts Alliance also hosted the opening reception of 'A Riot of Color," an art exhibition showcasing some of the brightest, boldest, and most colorful artwork from various local artists as a remedy for cabin fever and winter blues.

Growing up in the Brainerd lakes area I realized that I never wanted to leave, so it is a true blessing that I was able to find a job at the Dispatch doing something I love.
