On Friday, the constituent services staff of U.S. Sen. Tina Smith, D-Minn., will be in Brainerd as part of the senator's statewide constituent services effort.
The meetings are designed to inform Minnesotans about how Smith can go to bat for them when they need help working with a federal agency, a news release stated. The meetings will be 4:30-6:30 p.m. Friday at the Crow Wing County Land Services Building, 322 Laurel St., Brainerd.
Smith's staff will be available to meet one-on-one with residents who need help working with agencies such as the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Medicare, Social Security, or the Passport agency. The stop is one of several Smith's staff will be making in communities across the state in the coming months.
The services are free and open to all residents. No appointment is necessary. For more information on Smith's constituent services meetings, call 651-221-1016.
