The following people were sentenced in Crow Wing County District Court in 2016 on felony charges:

Jason Ryan Lovald, 34, Nisswa, was sentenced Oct. 31 for theft by Judge Kristine DeMay to 10 years of supervised probation and ordered to pay a $1,394 fine. He also served 15 days in jail for a misdemeanor shoplifting charge and ordered paid a $210 fine.

Liza Sammy Menth, 29, St. Cloud, was sentenced Oct. 19 for gross misdemeanor of giving a false name to a police officer by Judge Erik Askegaard to 365 days in local confinement, two years probation and a $446 fine. A felony drug charge and two misdemeanor charges were dismissed.

Tyler Maurice Roy, 32, Brainerd, was sentenced Oct. 31 by DeMay to 26 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud for third-degree burglary and ordered to pay a $210 fine. A felony second-degree burglary and felony theft charge were dismissed.

Steven Tyler Rushmeyer, 22, Brainerd, was sentenced Oct. 24 for first-degree property damage by DeMay to five years supervised probation and ordered to pay a $5,577 fine. The sentence received a stay of adjudication, meaning if probation is a success the felony may be dismissed.

Shane Keith Sigler, 29, St. Cloud, was sentenced Sept. 22 by Judge Richard Zimmerman for using a dangerous weapon to make a terroristic threat to five years supervised probation, 30 days in local confinement and ordered to pay a $210 fine. A felony charge of second-degree assault using a dangerous weapon and three misdemeanor charges were dismissed.

Dena Rae Staples, 21, Onamia was sentenced Aug. 24 to fifth-degree drug possession by Judge Earl Maus to five years of supervised probation and ordered to pay a $210 fine. The sentence received a stay of imposition, which means if probation is a success the count will be dropped to a misdemeanor.

Sean Paul Streiff, 27, Brainerd, was sentenced Nov. 7 for counterfeiting of currency by Maus to five years of supervised probation and ordered to pay a $210 fine.

Stephanie Ellen Teel-Tilbury, 41, Pine River, was sentenced Oct. 19 for fifth-degree drug possession by Askegaard to a stay of adjudication, which means once a successful probation is over, the case will be dismissed.

Nhat Minh Hoang Tran, 31, St. Cloud, was sentenced Sept. 15 for theft by Zimmerman to 10 years supervised probation after the court amended its decision on the 2012 case.

Neil Curtis Wiltz, 36, White Bear Lake, was sentenced Nov. 17 for domestic abuse of violating two or more orders for protection by Maus to five years of supervised probation, 30 days in jail and ordered to pay a $210 fine.

Russell John Worms, 44, Brainerd, was sentenced to third-degree drug possession by Maus to 20 years of supervised probation, 120 days in jail and ordered to pay a $660 fine. A felony second-degree drug possession charge and two petty misdemeanor drug charges were dismissed.

Krista Marie Abear, 38, Brainerd, was sentenced to third-degree drug sale Oct. 31 by DeMay five years of supervised probation and ordered to pay a $385 fine. The sentence received a stay of imposition and the judge dismissed two felony charges of drug sale at a school or public building.

Nathan David Becker, 28, Brainerd, was sentenced to fifth-degree drug possession Oct. 16 by DeMay to 10 years of supervised probation and ordered to pay a $585 fine. He also was sentenced to 90 days in jail for two misdemeanors of fifth-degree assault and for violating a restraining order. Seven misdemeanors were dismissed.

Anna Marie Dawn Bell, 38, Brainerd, was sentenced Sept. 30 to fifth-degree drug possession by Zimmerman to five years of supervised probation and ordered to pay a $210 fine. A felony firearm violation, a misdemeanor and petty misdemeanor were dismissed.

Kyle Henry Borchert, 28, Long Prairie, was sentenced Oct. 31 to fifth-degree drug possession by DeMay to five years of supervised probation and ordered to pay a $575 fine. The sentence received a stay of adjudication.

Dustin James Cavin, 32, Brainerd, was sentenced Oct. 6 to making terroristic threats by Zimmerman to 55 days in local confinement, five years supervised probation and ordered to pay a $4,539 fine. The sentence is a stay of imposition. He also was found guilty of a misdemeanor.

Zachary George Cronin, 26, Deerwood, was sentenced Oct. 17 to fifth-degree drug possession by Askegaard to five years of supervised probation and ordered to pay a $660 fine. He also was found guilty of a misdemeanor where he served 40 days in jail. The sentence received a stay of imposition.

Samantha Leeann Doesken, 26, Ironton, was sentenced Sept. 10 to fifth-degree drug possession by Zimmerman to 90 days in jail, five years of supervised probation and ordered to pay a $660 fine. The sentence received a stay of imposition.

Mitchell James Erlacher, 37, Brainerd, was sentenced Sept. 15 for check forgery by Zimmerman to 90 days in jail, 10 years supervised probation and ordered to pay a $14,779 fine.

Christopher Paul Franzen, 39, Brainerd, was sentenced Nov. 14 to fifth-degree drug possession by Maus to 365 days in jail, five years supervised probation and ordered to pay a $460 fine.

Darwin James Gerdes, Jr., 50, Brainerd, was sentenced Aug. 29 to fifth-degree drug possession by Maus to five years of supervised probation and ordered to pay a $135 fine.

Candy Marie Henry Hanson, 33, Brainerd, was sentenced Sept. 20 to third-degree drug sale by Zimmerman to 30 years of supervised probation and ordered to pay a $210 fine.

Matthew David Hudson, 32, Shakopee, was sentenced Sept. 30 for fifth-degree drug possession by Maus to 12 months, one day in the St. Cloud prison and ordered to pay a $210 fine.

Jason Ryan Lovald, 35, Brainerd, was sentenced Oct. 31 to fifth-degree drug possession by DeMay to five years supervised probation and ordered to pay a $75 fine.

Elliot Joseph Mongan, 26, Pequot Lakes, was sentenced Oct. 31 for fifth-degree drug possession by DeMay to 21 months in the St. Cloud prison; 24 months in prison for storing meth in the presence of a child or vulnerable adult and ordered to pay a $50 fine. The sentences are concurrent.
