The following people were sentenced in Crow Wing County District Court in 2016 on felony charges:
Brandon Scott Powell, 31, Brainerd, was sentenced by Judge Earl Maus Sept. 7 for two counts of first-degree aggravated robbery to 69 months for one count and 48 months for the second count in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud and a $260 fine. The sentences are concurrent. Five felonies were dismissed.
James Donald Schneider, 73, Cass Lake, was sentenced Sept. 2 by Maus for violating his predatory offender registration requirements to five years supervised probation, 90 days in local jail and $210 fine.
Brandon Paul Shaw, 26, Brainerd, was sentenced by Maus Aug. 24 for fifth-degree drug possession to 10 years of supervised probation, 180 days in jail and a $660 fine.
Sandra Kay Spaeth, 43, Brainerd, was sentenced by Maus Nov. 16 for fourth-degree assault of a peace officer to three years supervised probation, 90 days in jail and a $75 fine. A felony and two misdemeanors were dismissed.

Hunter Lee Stanton, 20, Brainerd, was sentenced by Maus Nov. 14 to fifth-degree drug sale to five years supervised probation, was given credit of 51 days served in jail and a $660 fine. The sentence received a stay of imposition, meaning if probation is a success met the felony will be reduced to a misdemeanor.
Rose Marie Von Ruden, 58, Brainerd, was sentenced by Judge Richard Zimmerman Sept. 15 to fifth-degree drug possession to five years of supervised probation, 90 days in jail and a $660 fine. A felony and a petty misdemeanor were dismissed.
Tracy Steven Wagner, 31, Onamia, was sentenced by Judge Erik Askegaard Nov. 23 to fifth-degree drug possession for five years of supervised probation and a $575 fine. The sentence received a stay of imposition.
Darcy Jo Watson, 31, Crosby, was sentenced by Askegaard Sept. 30 for second-degree aggravated robbery to 33 months in the Shakopee prison and a $135 fine and 45 months in prison for second-degree aggravated robbery. The sentences are concurrent. Three felonies were dismissed.
Wesley Scott Weous, 34, Onamia, was sentenced by Judge Kristine DeMay Oct. 10 to fifth-degree drug possession to 12 months and a day in St. Cloud prison and a $210 fine. A felony, two gross misdemeanors, a misdemeanor and a petty misdemeanor were dismissed.
Jacob Nicholas Whittenton, 32, Brainerd, was sentenced by Maus Sept. 13 for third-degree drug sale to 15 years of supervised probation, 219 days in jail and a $660 fine. He also was fined for $210 for a petty misdemeanor and 30 days in jail and a $135 fine for a misdemeanor charge. A felony and a petty misdemeanor were dismissed.
Jeremy Paul Hinze, 42, Arlington, was sentenced by DeMay for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance to five years supervised probation and a $660 fine. He also was sentenced to 90 days in jail for misdemeanor traffic violation and a $50 fine.
Mary Jean White, 44, Hastings, was sentenced by Maus Sept. 16 for financial transaction card fraud to three years supervised probation, 46 days in jail and a $660 fine. A felony drug charge and a misdemeanor charge were dismissed.

Bradley D. Fordyce, 65, Crosby, was sentenced by Zimmerman Sept. 22 for second-degree burglary to 10 years supervised probation, 180 days in jail and a $135 fine. He also was sentenced to 180 days in jail for gross misdemeanor stalking. The sentences are concurrent.
Dustin Allen Hanson, 33, St. Cloud, was sentenced by DeMay Oct. 19 for theft to five years unsupervised probation and a $1,160 fine.
Jennifer Lynn Jarvela, 40, Crosby, was sentenced by Maus Sept. 29 for fifth-degree drug possession to five years supervised probation, three day in jail and $575 fine.
Gage Colin Sargent, 27, Moorhead, was sentenced Nov. 10 by Maus for false imprisonment-intentional restraint to 25 months in the St. Cloud prison and a $210 fine. Felony second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim under 13 was dismissed.
Eldon Scott Roberts, 33, Crosby, was sentenced by Zimmerman Sept. 21 for fleeing a peace officer to two years probation, 265 days in jail and a $385 fine.
James RV Ames, 51, Walker, was sentenced by DeMay Oct. 24 for fifth-degree drug possession to five years supervised probation, 90 days in jail and $660 fine. He also was sentenced to 90 days in jail for misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. The sentences were concurrent.
Jared Dale Boye, 29, Walker, was sentenced by DeMay Oct. 24 for fifth-degree drug possession to five years supervised probation and $660 fine.
Kristina Alvina Britton, 35, Brainerd, was sentenced by Maus Nov. 14 for fifth-degree drug possession to 18 months in the Shakopee prison and a $210 fine.

Lee Andrew Clark, 30, Moose Lake, was sentenced by Zimmerman for escaping from custody to 13 months in the St. Cloud prison and a $210 fine.
Mercedes Annie Davis Deyhle, 21, Onamia, was sentenced by Askegaard Oct. 20 to fifth-degree drug possession to five years supervised probation and a $575 fine. The sentence received a stay of adjudication, meaning if probation is a success the felony may be dismissed.
