MINNEAPOLIS - The Minnesota Department of Corrections is searching for a level 3 sex offender who fled from a halfway house in Minneapolis on Oct. 26.
Rico Ronondo Rodriguez, 34, cut off his GPS tracking device and left the halfway house, violating the terms of his release from prison.
A corrections department release said Rodriguez was sentanced in 2003 for criminal sexual conduct against an underaged girl, and was again sent to prison in 2012 for failing to register as a sex offender in 2012.
The public is advised to not confront Rodriguez, and to call (651) 603-0026 with information.
