Sheriff's office needs public's help in burglary case

Crow Wing County Sheriff Todd Dahl is asking the public for their help in locating a vehicle involved in an early morning burglary of a storage garage in Ross Lake Township located southeast of Emily.

Crow Wing County Sheriff Todd Dahl is asking the public for their help in locating a vehicle involved in an early morning burglary of a storage garage in Ross Lake Township located southeast of Emily.

The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office received a call at 1:30 a.m. Monday from a citizen who had noticed a mid-1990's, dark green Chevy or GMC pickup parked in the driveway of a storage garage. As the citizen pulled into the driveway, the suspect vehicle backed up and crashed through a gate causing damage to the rear passenger side of the tailgate of the suspect vehicle.

Anyone with information on possible suspects or suspect vehicles is asked to contact the sheriff's office at 829-4749 and ask for the investigations division. Callers can remain anonymous.
