CUSHING -- The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect who allegedly broke into a residence Tuesday, July 23, on 260th Street, just west of Cushing.

The sheriff’s office reported the suspect was interrupted by a neighbor around 10:30-11 a.m., and fled. The suspect is described as a white male, around 25-35 years old, 5-foot 10-inches to 5-foot 11-inches tall with an average build. According to a witness, he appeared kind of scruffy. The suspect was driving a four-door white 2000 Ford Taurus with Oregon license plates. The front license plate was hanging half-off the vehicle. Several rare coins were stolen from the residence, including 1886 Morgan and Liberties silver dollars, silver rounds, silver quarters, buffalo head nickels and Kennedy half dollars.

Anyone with information regarding this burglary is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 320-632-9233.
