FEDERAL DAM — A 25-year-old Longville man was arrested Tuesday, June 1, in connection to a report of several shots fired at individuals at a rural Federal Dam residence.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office received the report at 10:32 a.m. Tuesday of the incident in the Sugar Point area in Gould Township. Deputies arrived in the area and met with the caller, who was not injured. A suspect was identified, the sheriff’s office reported.
A search warrant was conducted at a nearby residence and the Longville man was taken into custody without incident. The investigation continues and formal charges are pending, a news release stated.
Assisting at the scene were the Leech Lake Tribal Police Department and Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Conservation.
